Dear Resident
Rogue Traders
As the weather improves so does the prevalence of traders going from door to door. Sadly, many of them have become experts in deceiving people into allowing them into their homes. I am hoping with the advice below you can better prepare yourselves. Although it is still a infrequent activity, you will still need to be vigilant.
An additional warning to make is if you have two people at your door. Even if you feel comfortable in letting them in to the property, never be distracted by one person into one of the rooms, allowing the other to person to search around and for it to become a burglary. If you have vulnerable or elderly friends or relatives that live on their own, it would be a good deed to share the information that I have here; many will not use the internet or have a mobile phone.
